It’s easy to make this wreath. The size can vary – it depends on the embroidery hoop size you select and the number of corks you have on hand.
Required materials for this project:
- Wine corks
- 1 wooden embroidery hoop – any size
- Glue gun and glue sticks
- Any decorative element you want to add. I added artificial berries.
Hot glue corks around the hoop. I put glue on the hoop and then placed the cork center onto the glue-spot. Space as needed to maintain a nice circle. I have two rows of corks. The second row is glued on top of the bottom row.
The berries came in long strands, and I cut them in pieces and then glued them in a counter clockwise pattern. If you recall any typical berry wreath, the berries move in one direction. This wreath was made with a 10″ diameter hoop.
You can make a wine cork wreath in 1 to 2 hours.
My wreath hangs in the laundry room.
